Ben's passion for programming began in his teenage years diving into modding for video games. Diving into various communities and wikis, he is passionate about the open source nature and collaborative atmosphere of software development and the intersectionality it has into various other endeavors.

After graduating from the University of California - Irvine with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2017, Ben pursued a career in full stack web development working on various projects from software rewrites and redesign, database optimization and architecturing, feature implementations, and API implementations at an athletic sports scheduling company; originally combinining his passions for athletics and software development. He later worked on database scheduler optimizations and UX/UI improvements for advisor platforms at a fintech company. Later on he would work at an e-learning company and was involve in a large scale rebranding project and maintaining front end marketing implementation as well as onboarding workflows.

In his free time, Ben enjoys a various range of activities:

• Practicing Muay Thai as well as studying it, creating film analysis, and knowledge sharing with his friends 🥊🦵

• Traveling ✈️🧳
• Occasional video games and game level editing and design 🕹️👾🖌️
